DYXnet Group Makes Concerted Effort to Support Charities at Dragon Boat Festival in Hong Kong and Taiwan
(HONG KONG, June 25, 2012) -- DYXnet Group ("the Group") has grown into Greater China's leading ICT (Information and Communication Technology) service provider since its establishment 12 years ago. Adhering to the principal of "From society, to society", the Group had participated in the charity dragon boat race and film reception in Hong Kong and Taiwan respectively on the day of Dragon Boat Festival on June 23, 2012 fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
Dragon Boat Racing is the highlight of Dragon Boat Festival in both Hong Kong and Taiwan. DYXnet Group has long term commitment in developing leading ICT services as well as dedicates its efforts to protect Chinese culture and tradition. With a team consists of its frontline employees, their families and its business partners, DYXnet participated in the second "Family + Fish Charity Cup" for the first time. The race was organized by Aberdeen Dragon Boat Race Committee and held at Aberdeen Promenade Waterfront on June 23, 2012 in Hong Kong. We are honored to win the 2nd runner-up at the Charity Cup. By joining this event, the Group aims to increase employees' loyalty, enhance their families' recognition towards the Group and share a precious experience with its business partners through team cooperation.
All proceeds being raised from the Charity Cup will be used for purchasing fresh fishes for low-income families, sharing with them the happiness and the spirit of the Dragon Boat Festival.
On the same day, the Group organized a charity film reception of "Father's Lullaby" at Vie Show Cinemas in Taipei Hsin Yi. With a story background of 311 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the film is known as "Taiwan's No.1 Touching Movie" at Osaka Film Festival. As the film features scenes of children with rare diseases and domestic violence, the producer will donate a portion of its revenue to "The Pearl Buck Foundation", "Taiwan Foundation for Rare Disorders", "Taipei Women's Rescue Foundation" and other organizations.
DYXnet invited its customers and disadvantaged children to gather and watch this realistic touching film, hoping that the audience could experience Dragon Boat Festival in a new, cultural way.
Mr. Lap Man, Founder & CEO of DYXnet Group, stated, "As a social-responsible enterprise, I hold a strong belief in 'From society, to society'. Therefore, it is our job to contribute to the society. Through both charity dragon boat race and film reception, we not only can help low-income families and the disadvantaged, but also can strengthen the team spirit among our staff, their families and our business partners. Looking ahead, we will continue to shoulder our responsibility for the society and participate in more community activities."
