Another two POPs are planned for Silicon Valley in the US and Frankfurt in Germany to meet the future needs of carrier-grade and global enterprises. This will bring the total number of Internet and network POP cities to 59 over the next 6 to 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Backbone infrastructure has been a major beneficiary of the Group\u2019s 2016 merger with 21Vianet\u2019s Content Centric Internet Backbone (CCIB) unit. For example, DYXnet\u2019s total Internet capacity is now 1,000G, while Internet peering arrangements have now been established with 240 global carriers, Internet exchanges and well-known enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a move to offer our enterprise-grade clients even better resilience and redundancy, the Group has increased its number of dual POP cities to eight. They are Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Suzhou and Taipei.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DYXnet Founder and CEO Lap Man said: \u201cOur global carrier clients continue to expand business operations and upgrade their bandwidth requirements to run mission-critical applications on our reliable, scalable and resilient network.
