And we take great pleasure in helping to make the Internet more accessible and effective for citizens with special needs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Floria Chan, Group Director of Marketing &amp; Corporate Communications, received the coveted gold accolade on behalf of DYXnet Group at a presentation ceremony on January 16.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>More than 100 companies were honoured at the presentation ceremony, after submitting entries in three categories \u2013 website, mobile application and designer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DYXnet Group triumphed in the website category and qualified for the Gold Award by meeting 24 criteria such as \u201cbuild webpages with predictable operations\u201d, \u201cprovide multiple ways to retrieve content\u201d, \u201cbuild webpages with user-initiated auto-updating\u201d and \u201cprovide sufficient colour contrast\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Wing-Dar Ker said: \u201cDYXnet Group pursues every opportunity to demonstrate sound corporate citizenship, so we are pleased to identify with a scheme that promotes digital inclusiveness as part of a caring society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cWeb Accessibility Recognition Scheme\u201d was organised by the Office of Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) from 2013 to 2016, then started again last year under the auspices of the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) in conjunction with the OGCIO, with input from the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) as independent adviser.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Just last month, DYXnet Group was presented with the \u201cFamily-Friendly Employers Award\u201d for the second consecutive year, which qualified the company for \u201cSpecial Mention 2017\/18\u201d honours in a scheme run by the Family Council, an advisory body to the HKSAR Government.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"template":"","categories":[],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.9 -
