DYXnet shows continuing growth in 2009

News BACK TO PREVIOUS

Feb 26, 2010

25% increase in revenue reported thanks to outstanding performance of IP Call Centre and Internet Data Centre Businesses

(Hong Kong.26 Feb 2010) DYXnet, the leading Greater China Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Service Provider, celebrates another good year in 2009 by recording a 25% year on year increase in total revenue. The encouraging performance was driven by the surge in the IP Call Centre and Internet Data Centre (IDC) businesses, representing a massive 100% and 40% year on year growth respectively.

Mr. Lap Man, Founder and CEO of the Group commented, “We are delighted by the growth of DYXnet business in 2009, a time when most enterprises were facing difficulties due to the poor economy. The growth of the Group was mainly attributed to the booming market in Mainland China where we saw an enormous increase in demand for cross-border networking services. As a result, DYXnet has enjoyed rapid growth overall, particularly in the IDC and IP Call Centre sectors.”

“With business in Mainland China recorded a 30% year on year growth and accounted for 25% of total revenue, we see great potential in this market. Riding on our existing competitive edge and established network, DYXnet will allocate more resources in the market by expanding the sales forces and POPs.”

More Investment in Call Centre and IDC Services

Following the opening of the Beijing IP Call Centre in January this year, DYXnet has expanded its service to Northern China covering a number of major first tier cities. Capitalizing on the growing demand for IP Call Centre services in second tier cities, DYXnet will open two more centres in Xiamen and Yangzhou in the coming year. By that time, the capacity of DYXnet’s IP Call Centre business will expand from 1,300 to 2,000 seats.

Over the past few years, IP Call Centres have become a prominent part of the DYXnet business in which the Group has established its leadership position in the market. Expected the continuous growth in demand, especially in service sectors such as education, retail and banking, DYXnet has secured a number of key clients such as McDonald’s, English Town, Bank of Communications and TVB PAY VISION. Mr. Lap Man said, “The Group will continue its proactive market development strategy, providing clients with more reliable and cost-effective services.”

In addition to the growth of the IP Call Centre business, IDC Services also recorded a substantial growth, representing a 40% year on year growth in 2009. Mr. Lap Man explained, with businesses of all sizes seeking more flexible and optimization-oriented infrastructure solutions, the market demand will continue to grow. Thus, the Group expects the number of hosting customer servers to be increased by 50%, from 4,000 to 6,000.

Looking forward, Mr. Lap Man declared, “As the leading ICT Service Provider in Greater China, we enter this year with a renewed dedication and passion for our mission. We will be offering an ever-growing line-up of new services to cope with market demands. We will also enhance our current service portfolios to capture additional market share and to improve customer retention.”
